Special events at Sequoyah Grille
Sequoyah Grille, 4429 Kingston Pike, will feature special menu items including a $12 appetizer and two $26 entrees, along with its regular menu.  At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, Sequoyah Grille will host "A Taste of the Regions Best," wine dinner.  The menu includes arugula salad with basil enhanced tomato and fresh mozzarella relish, coffee infused smoked lamb chops and breast of duckling served with sweet potato puree and caramelized leeks and dark chocolate encased pear with toasted pistachios and savory cheese cake.  Cost is $55 per person. Buffalo Trace Bourbon Dinner
Cru Bistro & Wine Bar, 11383 Parkside Drive, will host a Buffalo Trace bourbon dinner and tasting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28. The menu includes chocolate-covered corn nuts; smoked salmon with compressed fennel on rye crostini; seared scallop and beet carpaccio with Benton’s country ham and blood orange-vanilla vinaigrette; lamb barbacoa with charred corn relish and smashed new potatoes; and baked apple bread pudding with brown sugar layers and sweet bourbon sauce for dessert. Symphony League hosts events
The Knoxville Symphony League is hosting 32 Elegant Dining Events to raise funds for the Knoxville Symphony.  The themed events include  "Reeds to Oboe at Marble Springs," (noon, Feb. 28, $50), "Oriental Luncheon with Ikebana Expressions," (noon, March 20, $40), " April in Paris," (noon, April 17, $45) and "Morning Brunch on the Lake," 10:30 a.m., May 17, $40).

Celebrity bartender at Echo Bistro
Van Elkins will be Echo Bistro & Wine Bar’s celebrity bartender from 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23. All tips received by Elkins will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Macaroni Grill to host wine tasting

Macaroni Grill, 7723 Kingston Pike, will host a wine tasting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 16. The menu will include a chocolate ganache fountain accompanied by cheesecake, Ghirardhelli Chocolate Cake, Lemon Passion, cheese platters and olives.
